About our

Research

Our research program focused on exploring the impact of the Hispanic businesses segment of the U.S. economy through research, knowledge dissemination, collaboration and application.

Our research objectives include:

  • Understanding best practices for Hispanic family businesses by collecting and conducting research in this field.
  • Disseminating research that can have a direct impact on decision making in your business.
  • Stimulating effective policymaking, trade association practices, as well as the expansion of knowledge and skills through applied research.
  • Offering educational solutions to Hispanic businesses that allow their families to improve their prosperity, generation after generation.

How do we do it?

  • Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research on Hispanic businesses in the United States through the use of local surveys, Census data, as well as qualitative research and interviews with Hispanic business owners.
  • Disseminate applied research insights to a variety of groups, from legislators to educators to Hispanic family business owners.
  • Connect professors, researchers and professionals who can use the data to conduct quality research and advance Hispanic family business education.
